We are pleased to welcome and to announce the "call" and "election" of The Reverend Dr. Bradley Sylvan Hauff from Oakdale, Minnesota as the new Rector of Saint Thomas, Flagler County. The Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Florida John Howard approved the election in late February.

Father Bradley Hauff and his wife Ruth will take up residence in Palm Coast on March 17 and will celebrate his first services at Saint Thomas on Easter Sunday, March 23 at all three services. (7:30, 8:45 and 11:00 am)

Father Brad comes to us from Church of the Epiphany in Plymouth Minnesota where he served as Associate Rector since 2001. He earned a Masters of Education from South Dakota State. He received his Masters of Divinity from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in 1990 in Evanston, Illinois and received a Doctor of Clinical Psychology degree in Minnesota in 2005. He has also served as adjunct faculty member at Seabury-Western and has other notable credentials.

He has extensive experience in areas of education, counseling, and youth ministry as well as experience in the traditional activities of worship, liturgy and preaching, pastoral care, administration and the many activities normally associated with the leading of a church.

He is the third rector called to Saint Thomas since it became a parish in the early 1980's. The first was The Reverend Robert Gibson serving from 1980 -1984.
The second rector since achieving parish status was The Reverend Robert A. Stuart serving from 1984 to January 2006 who shepherded the church to its present site, growth and development in Palm Coast.

We welcome Father Brad and Ruth into the Saint Thomas Parish family and anticipate his leading will join us in a renewed, vital and exciting ministry and mission at Saint Thomas and in the community.
